Manage stock accuracy, replenishment and stock-take for your area
Handle escalated customer complaints
Support rostering, attendance and leave planning
Deputise for the store manager and report on section performance

Volunteer for the operational work nobody wants: stock-take, rosters, audits.
Take a diploma covering store operations, inventory and team handling — the gap at this step is managerial, not product.
Learn the store's P&L lines and what you personally influence.
Ask to be given a section to own before the title exists.

Stock accuracy: A wrong stock figure breaks replenishment, online orders and audit at once.
Escalation handling: The complaints that reach you are the ones already going badly.
P&L literacy: Without it you cannot explain a bad month, only report it.
