Only what an employer needs
- The holder's name, as it appears on the certificate.
- The qualification and its level.
- The date it was issued.
- Whether it is still valid, or has been revoked.
Nothing else. Not the enrolment record, not the marks, not the date of birth you typed in — that is checked against a keyed hash and never stored in a form anybody can read back.
Why it asks for a date of birth. A certificate number alone would let anyone walk the sequence and harvest the name of every AORE graduate. Requiring a second fact that only the holder and a legitimate employer would have makes that useless — and a wrong pair returns nothing at all rather than a hint.

Not found what you expected?
A certificate can fail to verify because the number was mistyped, because the date of birth on file differs, or because it was revoked. The placement cell can check the register directly.
