About AORE
An institute built for the parts of India that get overlooked
Global brands are opening stores in cities that had none a decade ago, and the constraint on that growth is trained people. The Academy of Retail Excellence exists to remove that constraint — and to do it for candidates in tier-three towns and rural districts as readily as for those in Delhi.

Excellence
Programmes are built around what a hiring manager checks for, and taught by people who have done the checking.
Inclusivity
A student in Dehri-on-Sone gets the same mentors, material and placement support as one in Vasant Vihar. That is the entire reason the teaching is online.
Community focus
Retail employs a large share of India's workforce and trains almost none of it. Closing that gap locally, centre by centre, is the work.

Two people, one argument
- Co-Founder & DirectorDr. Ankit KumarFounded AORE to put retail training within reach of people who do not live near a metro campus. His work sits at the intersection of retail operations and human resources — a doctorate in both, a counselling qualification, and two decades of building training programmes that are judged on whether people get hired.
- Co-Founder, Director of HR & TrainingShweta SharmaRuns training and the HR function across AORE and AOne HR Services, the placement partner. Spends most of her time on the two ends of the pipeline that matter — what employers are actually asking for this quarter, and whether a candidate is ready to be sent to them.

What these certifications are not
What an AORE certification is, and what it is not
AORE programmes are job-oriented professional and business-administration certifications. They are not degrees, and they are not affiliated with UGC, AICTE or DEC. They are industry-recognised certification programmes intended to build practical skills and strengthen a professional résumé. If you need a UGC-recognised degree, this is not that — and we would rather you knew before you applied.
Plenty of institutes let students assume they are buying a degree. A candidate who needs a UGC-recognised qualification should find that out on this page, not after paying ₹53,100 and sitting eleven months of classes. What AORE offers is a job-oriented certification backed by 22 affiliations and a placement cell — which is a different thing, and for most retail careers a more useful one.
